Camp is just around the corner and we're super excited! To make sure everything goes smoothly, please make sure you have reviewed all of the following information that has been sent out to your campers.
Crest Christian Camp (ACCC) in the Angeles National Forest. Please consult the separately attached Driving Directions to ACCC. For example, if you live in Temple City, it will take about 1 hour and 10 minutes to get to ACCC. As a courtesy to all drivers on the mountain highway, when the passing lane option is available, please pull over to the slower lane (right lane) if cars are stacked behind you, so they can pass.
Please keep all pets at home.
Camp begins with registration on a staggered timeslot process. If there is a situation in which carpooling is necessary or siblings have different times, choose the time slot of the earliest arriving camper as your registration time. Allow about an hour to complete the registration process; students with medications will need additional time to speak to the Nurse. Please do not arrive early and please come with your parent/guardian who will stay with you through the registration process.
Please arrive for registration at the following times:
3:00 p.m. – Counselors, Junior Counselors, and Staff (no Campers at this time)
4:00 p.m. - Campers who play a String Instrument
4:30 p.m. – Campers who play a Wind or Percussion Instrument
Concert Time: 2:00 p.m.
Please plan on attending an outdoor concert held at the ACCC Amphitheater; you’ll hear students perform in the Wind Ensemble, String Orchestra, and Symphony Orchestra. Please bring a folding chair/blanket/iced cold drinks and sit under the trees or sit on the covered bleachers closer to the students. There will be ACCC staff to help direct traffic and coordinate parking and since we expect a large audience on Saturday, please allow plenty of time to get up the mountain and park. We thank you for your patience on concert day! All performers are expected to remain at camp until the end of the concert, and then you can take your camper home. The concert will be over at approximately 3:30 p.m.
Campers love to get mail – send as much as you can! Send ONLY envelopes; NO packages! The week goes by fast, so send mail, by Wednesday, July 30, to guarantee delivery. Bellis Music Camp is not responsible for any mail that is not received in time.

Lawrence Bellis
Bellis Music Camp was founded in 1957 by music educator, Lawrence Bellis. Its purpose is to serve young musicians by creating an atmosphere where musical and social skills can be combined to bring out the best in each young person. This week-long, sleep-away summer camp is located in the San Gabriel Mountains, serving middle school aged music students throughout Southern California. Campers participate in a variety of ensembles, theory classes, and recreational activities. The week culminates in a concert for our campers' friends and family.
